Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years in a prehospital system at the level instructing.
• State paramedic or EMT license in good standing.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret education-related material; write routine reports and speak before groups.
• Ability to calculate figures related to EMS topics.
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in various formats.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint; experience with AV equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provides live skills and scenario instruction during lab classes.
• Supports the mission, vision, and values of the school to external agencies.
• Works with the primary instructor and leadership to enforce student policies.
• Attends team meetings and annual training.
• Grades students on psychomotor and affective abilities per syllabus.
• Follows the scheduled lab plan and reports on student progress.
