Job summary

School of EMS seeks an Adjunct Lab Instructor to provide high-quality skills instruction and facilitate EMS scenarios in live lab sessions. You will work with the primary instructor and site leadership to enforce policies and ensure student progress.

The role requires state licensure or eligibility, completion of required onboarding modules, and the ability to travel as needed. Strong communication and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years in a prehospital system at the level instructing.
• Instructor Orientation must be completed by School of EMS.
• Must meet all state instructor requirements where applicable.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret education-related material.

Responsibilities

• Provides live skills and scenario instruction during lab classes.
• Supports the mission, vision, and values of the school to outside agencies.
• Works with the primary instructor and leadership to enforce student policies.
• Attends occasional team meetings and annual training.
• Grades students on psychomotor and affective abilities per syllabus.
• Follows the scheduled lab plan and reports student progress.
• Participates in debriefs and communicates outcomes.
• Travelling may be required and should be conducted professionally.
