Job summary

School of EMS seeks an Adjunct Lab Instructor to provide high-quality skills instruction and facilitate live lab scenarios. The role collaborates with the primary instructor and site leadership to ensure policy compliance and a productive learning environment.

You will grade students on psychomotor and affective abilities, follow the lab plan, and participate in occasional meetings and training. State licensure requirements apply and onboarding includes instructor orientation.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a prehospital system at the instructing level.
• Instructor Orientation by School of EMS must be completed.
• State paramedic or EMT license in good standing, depending on level taught.
• Familiarity with Word, Excel and PowerPoint; ability to operate AV equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provides live skills and scenario instruction during lab classes.
• Supports the school's mission, vision, and values to external agencies.
• Collaborates with the primary instructor and leadership to enforce policies.
• Attends team meetings and annual training.
• Grades students on psychomotor and affective abilities per syllabus.
• Follows the scheduled lab plan and reports on student progress.
• Conducts themselves professionally, including during travel.
