Job summary

School of EMS is seeking an Adjunct Lab Instructor to deliver live skills instruction and facilitate EMS scenario-based learning during lab sessions. You will work closely with the main instructor and site leadership to uphold program policies and ensure student safety and engagement.

Responsibilities include grading psychomotor and affective skills, following the lab plan, and participating in onboarding and annual trainings. Occasional travel and meetings may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching in a lab or clinical setting with EMS topics.
• Must meet state instructor requirements and onboarding milestones.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides live skills and scenario instruction during lab classes.
• Supports the mission, vision, and values of the school to external agencies.
• Works with the primary instructor and leadership to enforce policies and procedures.
• Attends team meetings and annual training.
• Grades students on psychomotor and affective abilities per syllabus.
• Follows the scheduled lab plan and reports student progress.
• Participates in debriefs and travels if required.
