Job summary

School of EMS is seeking an Adjunct Lab Instructor to deliver high-quality live skills instruction and facilitate EMS scenario sessions in the lab environment. The role collaborates with the primary instructor and site leadership to ensure policy adherence and patient care standards during training.

Responsibilities include grading psychomotor and affective skills, following the lab plan, and reporting student progress.

Qualifications

• Requires practical EMS instructional experience and ability to manage live lab sessions.
• Must be able to grade psychomotor and affective skills per syllabus.
• Instructor orientation must be completed before instructing students.
• State EMS license at appropriate level must be valid and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide live skills and scenario instruction during lab classes.
• Support School of EMS mission, vision, and policies to external agencies.
• Coordinate with primary instructor and leadership to ensure policy compliance.
• Attend team meetings and annual trainings.
• Grade students based on the syllabus for psychomotor and affective abilities.
• Follow the scheduled lab plan and report student progress.
• Debrief with students after sessions and participate in evaluations.
