Job summary

School of EMS is seeking an Adjunct Lab Instructor to deliver live skills instruction and facilitate EMS lab sessions. You will work with the primary instructor and leadership to enforce policies, assess student performance, and ensure safety and quality in every session.

The role requires collaboration, reliability, and the ability to travel to designated sites. You will participate in onboarding and ongoing training while supporting program outcomes across campuses.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a prehospital system at the level instructing
• Instructor Orientation must be completed before instructing students
• Onboarding includes Parts 1–3 and card course instructor within 6 months
• State requirements may be more restrictive depending on state

Responsibilities

• Provide live skills and scenario instruction during lab classes.
• Support School of EMS mission, vision, and values with external agencies.
• Collaborate with the primary instructor and leadership to enforce policies.
• Attend team meetings and annual training as required.
• Grade students on psychomotor and affective abilities per syllabus.
• Follow the scheduled lab plan and report student progress.
• Participate in debriefs and handle travel appropriately.
