Job summary

Vulcan Materials Company is seeking an EMS Coordinator to advance from administration to strategic coordination of equipment lifecycle and maintenance data, acting as a liaison between plant management and the maintenance team to ensure long-term efficiency.

You will oversee data across EMS, Oracle, and LabCheck, manage preventative maintenance schedules, DOT reporting, and fleet telematics while maintaining data integrity and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience administering databases or deployed applications with a proven track record in report writing and data analysis.
• Thorough understanding of both mobile and fixed equipment facets within the aggregates and ready‑mix industries.
• Expert proficiency in Google Office applications, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and mastery of EMS, LabCheck, and telematics software.
• Exceptional ability to communicate with employees at all levels to report problems, receive procedures, and deliver technical training.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end administration of equipment data across EMS, Oracle, and LabCheck to ensure data integrity across the Ready Mix line of business.
• Oversee preventative maintenance schedules, monitor overdue services, and manage Federal DOT reporting to ensure equipment safety and regulatory compliance.
• Direct the month-end fuel closing process, investigate physical versus book inventory discrepancies, and manage fluid monitoring systems to maintain financial accuracy and resource efficiency.
