Job summary

Vulcan Materials Company is seeking a Manager of Mobile Equipment Maintenance to supervise the maintenance and repair of mobile equipment across multiple sites. You will lead a team of technicians, develop maintenance schedules, coordinate repairs, and ensure safe, efficient operation.

The role involves budgeting and inventory control, implementing best practices, and collaborating with regional leadership to optimize equipment performance and utilization.

Qualifications

• BS / BA degree in Business Administration or Engineering or an equivalent combination of training and work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible management experience in directing activities relating to the preventative maintenance and repair of mobile equipment.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs as they relate to mobile equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manages hourly employees and supervisors relating to the maintenance and repair of mobile equipment.
• Develops new programs to service mobile equipment with an emphasis on cost control and maximum equipment utilization.
• Implements comprehensive mobile equipment training programs using both internal and external resources.
• Works with region sites and Area Managers on monitoring warranty claims and defining root causes of failure of existing equipment.
