Job summary

Vulcan Elements Inc. is assembling a leadership team to design and deploy end-to-end material flow and plant layout for a new facility.

You will own ERP/WMS configuration, master data structures, and lot genealogy to support defense and aerospace-grade magnet production. The role requires 8+ years in manufacturing materials management, experience leading multi-shift teams, and on-floor presence during construction and ramp.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field and 8+ years in manufacturing materials management or warehousing.
• Experience leading multi-shift material handling teams (5+ shifts).
• Strong inventory control, cycle counting, and lot traceability experience.
• Experience with hazardous material handling and regulatory requirements.
• Budget ownership and cost control experience.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end material flow from inbound to finished goods.
• Define WIP locations, staging areas and storage strategies.
• Configure ERP and WMS including item masters, locations and BOM data.
• Oversee inbound receiving, WIP movement, outbound packaging and shipment.
• Establish cycle counting and inventory reconciliation; ensure accuracy.
• Own safety programs for material handling and budget for production controls.
