Job summary

Vulcan Materials Company seeks an Electrical Maintenance Coordinator at an aggregate plant to oversee maintenance and repair of electrical systems, ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency. You will plan preventive maintenance, troubleshoot complex issues, supervise technicians and contractors, and manage spare parts inventory.

This role requires strong knowledge of electrical systems, project management, and the ability to read schematics and electrical codes to improve plant performance

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an Apprenticeship Program or 4+ years of training in the electrical field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the electrical trade laying out work and organizing jobs.
• Experience in the mining industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete all assigned jobs safely and efficiently; use experience to reduce costs.
• Direct supervision of assigned personnel/contractors; ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Assist Electrical Supervisor/Manager with department cost control; organize tasks to minimize idle time.
• Keep supervisor informed on progress and scope changes.
• Ensure electrical work complies with NEC, MSHA, OSHA requirements.
• Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance plans.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex electrical systems with minimal production impact.
• Identify opportunities to improve electrical system reliability and plant performance.
