Job summary

Guilford County Government is seeking a Paramedic Training Supervisor to lead EMS field training and orientation for new and progressing personnel. You will oversee clinical education, evaluation, and documentation of competency across EMS teams, while continuing to perform Paramedic duties as needed.

The role emphasizes developing instructional programs, ensuring certification maintenance, and guiding staff through progressive training with a focus on quality and safety in a field environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold NC EMT Paramedic certification.
• Associate degree with 2+ years paramedic experience or HS diploma with 4+ years paramedic experience.
• CPR, ACLS, and PALS provider certifications required; ICLS 100/700; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct delivery of EMS and other services.
• Serve as field trainer for orientation of EMS employees.
• Lead instruction, evaluation, and documentation of competency for EMS personnel.
• Conduct ongoing education and field training for personnel at all levels.
• Perform Paramedic duties as required.
