Job summary

Guilford County Government in Greensboro, NC is seeking a paramedic to perform response, assessment, triage, treatment and transport for emergencies, with proficiency across medical, cardiac and traumatic injuries to maintain 24-hour service.

You will work to support public health needs, operate under standard protocols, document care and collaborate with EMS personnel, hospitals, and public safety teams while prioritizing patient safety and timely care.

Qualifications

• Must be a NC Paramedic credentialed or eligible via reciprocity.
• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.
• Must maintain a valid DMV driver's license and EMS experience.

Responsibilities

• Check vehicle systems and equipment at start of shift.
• Respond to emergency calls as driver or attender.
• Prioritize patient treatment on scene.
• Provide basic to advanced life support.
• Transport patients to medical facilities.
• Document observations and care en route.
