Job summary

American Medical Response in Stone Mountain, GA is hiring a Supervisor, Operations to oversee day-to-day EMS field operations, staffing, scheduling, and equipment maintenance.

You will mentor field staff, review PCRs, coordinate with public safety and hospital partners, manage shifts, and help implement department policies. A valid EMT/Paramedic certification, 3+ years EMS experience, and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of EMS field experience.
• EMT/Paramedic Certification.
• State Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, BTLS/PHTLS Certifications.
• High School Diploma or GED; some advanced education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and develop field staff to ensure high patient care levels.
• Maintain quality field operations through daily oversight and evaluation.
• Act as liaison between the company, patients, public safety agencies, and hospitals.
• Mentor employees and conduct performance evaluations; provide disciplinary actions as needed.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and shift bids; cover open shifts as necessary.
• Oversee operation, utilization, and maintenance of EMS equipment.
• Review PCRs and field paperwork for accuracy and timely reconciliation.
• Investigate incidents and complaints; drive corrective actions and learning.
