Qualifications

• Clear radio and telephone communication.
• Accurate recording, transmitting and reporting of information.
• Proficient with equipment and data entry.
• Ability to multitask and type accurately.
• Familiarity with basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for ambulance/transport services.
• Allocate EMS resources using protocols and decision rules.
• Complete paperwork accurately before shift ends.
• Enter shift data and state Run data as assigned.
• Generate reports and verify accuracy.
• Assist in locating scenes and choosing fastest safe routes.
• Relay instructions from supervisors and emergency information.
• Maintain knowledge of company policies and memorandums.
• Operate equipment (computer, printers, 911 devices, phones).
