Responsibilities

• Receives, records and manages ambulance assistance/transport requests.
• Offers pre-arrival instructions as indicated.
• Implements Emergency Medical Dispatch concepts per protocol.
• Allocates EMS resources using approved protocols.
• Ensures completeness and accuracy of shift paperwork.
• Generates and checks shift data and reports.
• Locates incident scenes and selects safe routes.
• Relays instructions and updates from supervisors.
• Maintains knowledge of company policies and memorandums.
• Follows established request formats and uses equipment as assigned.
