Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking a dedicated EMS Dispatcher to join our Dekalb County, Georgia team for the full-time night shift (6PM-6AM). You will respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, coordinate ambulance transportation and ensure clear, accurate communication with providers and facilities.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, some dispatch or customer service experience, and an EMD certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EMD Certification required or preferred.
• Some work experience in dispatch or customer service is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to calls and emails using the designated system to deliver quality customer support to providers, facilities and members.
• Schedule, assign, review and route transportation requests.
• Document communications per protocols and escalate issues when needed.
• Communicate trip data including confirmations, routing time, issues and performance.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow team members.
• Demonstrate strong organizational, multitasking and time-management skills.
