Global Medical Response in Waco, TX, is hiring a Dispatcher to respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for ambulance and transportation services. You will assign and route requests and ensure clear communication to support quality patient care.

The role requires a high school diploma, English proficiency, strong typing and data entry, multitasking, and the ability to operate dispatch equipment. Experience as an EMS or public safety dispatcher is preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EMS or public safety dispatcher experience preferred.
• Strong reading and writing in English.
• Ability to communicate clearly on radio/telephone.
• Accurate data entry and reporting.
• Ability to multitask and use dispatch equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for ambulance and transportation services.
• Assign and route transportation requests using approved protocols.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and data entry for shifts.
• Generate and verify applicable reports.
• Assist in locating scenes and selecting safest routes.
• Relay instructions from supervisors and manage communications.
• Maintain knowledge of company policies and procedures.
• Follow established parameters for service requests.
• Operate dispatch equipment including 911 systems and telephones.
