Job summary

Forrest City Ambulance Services in Forrest City, AR, is hiring a full-time dispatcher to answer incoming lines, dispatch emergency and non-emergency ambulance requests, coordinate pre-scheduled events, and ensure accurate information flow for the company.

You will enter and update the CAD system, determine appropriate units, provide outstanding customer service to facilities, patients and external contacts, handle paperwork, and support daily and month-end reporting while following SOPs and all

Qualifications

Must have High School Diploma or GED.
Computer literate including CAD entry.
Must communicate clearly in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Answer incoming phone lines categorized as dispatch and coordinate ambulance requests.
Process emergent and non-emergent requests per SOP.
Enter and update the CAD system with complete and accurate information.
Determine appropriate unit for emergent and non-emergency requests.
Provide high level customer service to facilities, patients, and external contacts.
Process paperwork from external/internal contacts.
Assist with daily and month-end paperwork (calls, times, etc.).
Report to work at assigned times and in emergencies.
Follow all procedures, policies, rules, and regulations of the company.
Demonstrate excellent communication and professional behavior.
