Qualifications

• Ability to effectively manage the CAD system to coordinate operations of clinical teams.
• Ability to interpret documents such as medical necessity forms and insurance guidelines.
• Ability to write reports and other correspondence effectively.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally to customers, patients or employees.
• Ability to perform basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide).
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Ability to interpret written/oral/instructional forms.
• Must maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, and lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls and direct callers as appropriate.
• Use dispatch software to assign calls to clinical teams as required.
• Enter prescheduled calls.
• Communicate issues to the Communications Center Specialist.
• Ensure all information is entered into the dispatch system.
• May collect paperwork or payments or process credit card payments.
• Coordinate with crews regarding level of care and scheduling.
• Provide information to the team as requested.
• Maintain high quality customer service and professionalism with clients and callers.
• Attend meetings as requested by management.
