Job summary

You will broadcast orders to crews, take caller information, and dispatch emergent and non-emergent runs using radio, phone, and computer systems.

The role requires strong integrity, the ability to work with minimal supervision in a high-pressure setting, and proficiency in typing at least 30 words per minute.

Responsibilities

• Broadcast orders to crews regarding runs, emergencies and general information.
• Take caller information, determine run type, and dispatch emergent and non-emergent runs.
• Record pertinent information and relay data via radio, phone or computer systems.
• Work under Emergency Medical Dispatch protocols as required.
