Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Medical Records Clerk to support Medical Oncology practices. You will initiate medical charts, collect and organize records, and collaborate with front office, providers, and clinical staff to ensure timely access.

You’ll scan and index records in the EMR, coordinate with CBO and insurance, and maintain office supplies, ensuring HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• College Diploma preferred.
• None required experience.
• HIPAA compliance knowledge preferred.
• Ability to organize and manage medical records.

Responsibilities

• Prepares records accurately to ensure timely access by authorized persons.
• Monitors chart for additional work assignments and organizes records for clinical staff.
• Documents within EMR and hospital charting systems; processes referrals.
• Provides information to third party payers as needed for payment justification.
• Releases protected health information in accordance with HIPAA.
