Job summary

Talentify in the United States is seeking a Medical Records Clerk to verify and release information with strict HIPAA compliance. You will manage EMR records, prepare radiology images for review, and support SDMI documentation. Strong customer service and privacy focus are essential.

Responsibilities include handling requests, coordinating with physicians and facilities, and ensuring timely processing of emergent records and notes in the EMR system.

Qualifications

• Must be a High school graduate or equivalent.
• Read and write English.
• Medical records experience preferred.
• Complete occurrence reports within 24 hours when events occur.
• Maintain privacy and security of patient information.

Responsibilities

• Process requests for medical records from patients, physicians or facilities.
• Maintain accuracy of outside records in the EMR.
• Prepare outside images for comparison read by Radiologist.
• Assist in preparing SDMI records for CRR sending to doctors.
• Answer ACD calls from referring physicians, facilities or patients.
• Fax reports and coordinate with DDS as required.
