Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health is seeking a School Based Support Specialist to deliver intensive outpatient case management for youth in school settings. You will provide individualized interventions, coordinate care with schools and families, and promote recovery, resilience, and academic achievement.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of case management, rehab methods, and treatment planning in mental health or substance use.
• Understanding of behavioral health challenges and community-based supports.
• Familiar with ethical, legal, and procedural standards in behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based behavioral health interventions aligned with treatment goals.
• Support coping strategies, social-emotional functioning, and life skills in students.
• Coordinate care with schools, families, and external providers.
• Manage caseload, ensure timely documentation, and provide crisis intervention.
• Conduct home visits to support youth and family engagement.
• Assist with QA activities, data collection, and compliance with protocols.
• Participate in supervision, evaluation, and ongoing staff development.
