This full-time role requires ASHA CCC or equivalent, a current license, CPR certification, and reliable transportation; compensation ranges from $85,400 to $117,500 per year, plus Humana benefits.

Qualifications

• ASHA CCC or equivalent certification required.
• Minimum six months experience as a speech therapist / SLP.
• Current and unrestricted license to practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, direct and provide speech-language pathology services to patients in the home or facility.
• Participate in development and periodic review of the Plan of Treatment and Plan of Care.
• Assess and treat disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing and swallowing.
• Administer and interpret diagnostic tests and therapies including audiologic screening.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to supervisor/physician.
• Provide instruction to patients in alternative communication methods when appropriate.
• Counsel patients and families; maintain required documentation and reports.
