Community Interactions, Inc. is seeking Therapeutic and Direct Support Professionals to support and mentor adults with Developmental and Physical Disabilities. DSPs provide person-centered services, ensuring health, welfare and safety per ISP, under supervision of Clinical Team.

Employees may perform lifting, household tasks, and transport duties; the role offers flexible schedules, work-life balance, and an excellent benefits package with 401K and paid training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of experience working with persons Autism preferred.
• Ability to train and coach assigned Consumers and develop under the Clinical Team guidance for learning, communication, and therapeutic support.
• Ability to interpret, execute and enhance Support Plans to accomplish goals as defined by the Clinical Team.
• Valid driver’s license with minimum 3 years of driving history, and personal vehicle in compliance with State Laws to transport Consumers.

Responsabilités

• The Direct Support Professional provides quality person-centered services and mentors individuals.
• Ensures health, welfare and safety according to Individual Service/Support Plans.
• Meet service expectations of customers and families, funders and licensing entities under supervision of Team Facilitator.
• May perform lifting, housekeeping, shopping, and other duties; drives to community activities as needed.
