Community Systems, Inc. seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to help people with disabilities live independently in their own homes and participate in their communities.

You will teach daily living skills, provide personal care, and advocate for wellness while following CSI policies and regulations. The role requires empathy, teamwork, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts. CSI offers training and growth opportunities along with competitive benefits.

• Assist persons with disabilities in daily living and daily activities.
• Advocate for rights and promote wellness within policies and laws.

Responsibilities

• Support and empower each person to direct his or her own life.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with persons supported; interact respectfully.
• Provide opportunities for learning new skills and new life experiences.
• Teach and role-model appropriate social behavior.
• Assist in developing and implementing vision statements and support plans.
• Support optimal health, including medical appointments and coordination with healthcare professionals.
• Ensure individuals exercise their rights and maintain a safe, clean home.
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
• Able to work 12 hour shifts.
