Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Employee Relations partner to deliver expert HR investigations, policy interpretation, and proactive guidance to managers and employees. You will support operations with compliant dispute resolution, leverage case data, and minimize legal risk while partnering with HRBPs and legal teams.

The role requires strong analytical and negotiation skills, ability to work independently, and travel to company sites. A bachelor’s degree in HR or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with experience in HR compliance or employee relations.
• Experience conducting sensitive investigations and applying laws and regulations.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws is essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and participate in all phases of local HR investigations, develop investigation plans, and manage cases in ServiceNow/Navex.
• Provide policy interpretation to supervisors and managers on conflict resolutions, disciplinary actions, and termination procedures.
• Partner with operations, legal, and HR teams to resolve complex Employee Relations situations.
• Ensure high-quality HR support through performance management and policy administration within union agreements where applicable.
