Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Employee Relations Partner to provide confidential ER guidance to managers and staff, conduct investigations, and advise on disciplinary actions and terminations in compliance with policies and laws.

You will collaborate with Operations, HRBP, Legal, and COEs to resolve complex cases, analyze ER trends, and support performance management while protecting confidentiality across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, organizational management, law or equivalent major, or 4+ years of related experience.
• 5+ years in HR compliance, HR generalist or employee relations.
• Proficiency in MS Office; intermediate level.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and participate in all phases of local HR investigations, developing investigation plans and conducting fair, neutral investigations in line with policies and regulations.
• Provide supervisors with policy interpretation on conflict resolution, discipline, and termination procedures.
• Partner with Operations Management/Legal to resolve complex Employee Relations situations.
• Deliver high-quality HR support through performance management and compliance, including union-related provisions where applicable.
