Job summary

ElDorado National California Inc. in Riverside, CA seeks an Employee Relations Representative (Temp to Hire) to support a positive, compliant workplace across the organization.

You will investigate workplace concerns, interpret policies, advise leaders, document actions, and partner with HR, Legal, Safety, Payroll and other departments to resolve matters and strengthen employment practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred.
• 3+ years in HR, Employee Relations or related function.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and handling confidential matters.
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interviewing, conflict resolution, and documentation skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS tools.
• Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee relations matters, including complaints, conflicts, performance concerns, attendance, and policy violations.
• Conduct timely, thorough workplace investigations with interviews and fact-finding.
• Partner with managers and HR leadership to develop resolutions and corrective actions.
• Provide guidance on performance management, disciplinary actions, and policy interpretation.
• Maintain confidential employee relations documentation and case records.
• Identify trends and recommend policy or training improvements.
• Ensure practices comply with federal, state, and local laws and policies.
• Support development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with HR, Legal, Safety, Payroll, and other departments as needed.
• Coach leaders to improve engagement, communication, accountability, and effectiveness.
• Assist with employee termination processes and necessary approvals.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment with sensitive information.
