Ultimate Staffing Services in Fountain Valley, California is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Specialist to support a large multi-state workforce. This temp-to-hire role focuses on investigations, guidance on ER matters, disciplinary actions, and policy compliance.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years HR/ER experience, strong investigative skills, and knowledge of employment laws. Bilingual Spanish is highly preferred; onsite with travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive HR/Employee Relations experience.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and handling complex ER cases.
• Experience managing disciplinary actions, corrective actions, terminations, and separations.
• Experience supporting a large, multi-state workforce (1,200+ employees preferred).
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Conduct workplace investigations involving misconduct, policy violations, attendance issues, performance concerns, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other ER matters.
• Advise managers on ER concerns, performance management, corrective actions, disciplinary processes, and policy interpretation.
• Partner with leaders and employees to resolve workplace issues through coaching, counseling, and conflict resolution.
• Manage employee terminations and separations with documentation review, risk assessment, and compliance considerations.
• Support claims, litigation matters, mediations, arbitrations, and legal inquiries with organized case documentation.
• Maintain confidential, audit-ready ER records and documentation.
