Job summary

Jabil, based in Florence, KY, seeks an Employee Relations Specialist to foster a productive work environment by guiding managers and staff on policy interpretation, performance management, and dispute resolution. This on-site role supports manufacturing operations with first/second shift flexibility and requires strong investigative skills and labor-law knowledge.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in ER, experience with non-exempt populations, and a relevant HR degree or certification.

Qualifications

3–5 years of progressive experience in employee relations, preferably in a manufacturing or technology environment.
High-volume ER case experience, particularly with non-exempt employees.
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field; Master’s or HR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Investigate employee complaints and misconduct impartially.
Provide coaching on performance, disciplinary actions, and policy interpretation.
Facilitate mediations and conflict resolution processes.
Ensure consistent application of policies and labor laws.
Develop and deliver training on HR topics for managers and staff.
Maintain confidential records of ER cases and investigations.
Collaborate with HRBPs and legal counsel on complex issues.
Monitor employment law changes and update policies as needed.
