Collectors Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Employee Relations Partner to join our People team in Jersey City, NJ.

You will partner with the Director of Employee Relations to build and manage our employee relations program, develop policies, and guide managers and staff on disciplinary processes and investigations. You will collaborate with HR, legal, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent resolution of issues, maintain records, and support an inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 2–3+ years of experience in employee relations, HR frontline facing or related field.
• At least 3 years in a unionized or labor-relations environment, handling grievances or disputes.
• Experience supporting Light Manufacturing and Corporate teams.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, discrimination, harassment and retaliation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• HR certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and manage complex employee relations issues, including harassment and policy violations.
• Develop and implement employee relations policies and ensure compliance with laws.
• Provide guidance to managers and employees on relations matters.
• Conduct training on conflict resolution and harassment prevention.
• Collaborate with HR, legal, and stakeholders to resolve issues fairly.
• Maintain records and analyze trends in employee relations.
• Conduct exit interviews and report trends to senior management.
