Job summary

Collectors Universe, Inc. is seeking an Employee Relations Partner to join the People team in Jersey City, NJ. You will partner with the Director of Employee Relations to build policies and resolve complex employee issues on-site at our Jersey City headquarters.

You’ll guide managers, conduct training, and ensure fair, compliant processes while contributing to a positive workplace culture and strong employee relations practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or related field is preferred.
• Minimum 2–3+ years in employee relations or HR facing role.
• Minimum 3 years in unionized or labor-relations environment.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve complex employee relations issues across the organization.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for employee relations compliance.
• Guide managers on disciplinary processes and performance matters.
• Conduct training for managers and employees on conflict resolution and harassment prevention.
