Job summary

VNS Health in New York, NY seeks an experienced Employee Relations professional to manage ER matters from intake to resolution. You will conduct investigations, document findings and coach managers on performance and policy application, ensuring fair treatment and timely actions.

In this role you’ll collaborate with HRBPs, Legal and Compliance on high-risk matters while maintaining confidential case records and contributing to process improvements within a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience with strong employee relations, investigations and manager consultation.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and handling performance, conduct and corrective-action matters.
• Knowledge of employment law and HR practices; healthcare environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Owns and manages standard employee relations matters from intake through resolution with timely, well-documented outcomes.
• Conducts fair, thorough workplace investigations including planning, interviews, evidence review and findings.
• Coaches managers on performance, attendance, conduct and policy application with effective conversations.
• Partners with HRBPs, Legal and Compliance on sensitive or high-risk matters.
• Maintains confidential case records and supports governance of case-management processes.
