Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field and/or 4 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years of professional HR administration experience preferred.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
• Outstanding interviewing and communication skills for in-person, phone, and video.
• Payroll experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct employee relations and communication strategies including discipline and conflict resolution.
• Handle routine HR inquiries and escalate complex matters to management.
• Serve as initial contact for intake and assessment of employee complaints.
• Conduct initial interviews and gather information for employee relations matters.
• Assist with recordkeeping related to hiring, termination, leave, transfers, and promotions.
• Conduct surveys and research related to HR policies and compensation; report findings to HR Director.
• Maintain knowledge of laws related to EEO and HR; assist with planning and documentation.
• Assist with preparation of plans, policies, documents, and reports including EEO-1 and handbooks.
• Conduct exit interviews, summarize findings, discuss trends with senior management.
