Job summary

Sentara Health in Virginia Beach is seeking an Employee Relations partner to support division leaders and team members, upholding workforce policies and legal compliance.

You will conduct thorough investigations, maintain documentation, and monitor trends to advise HR and operations on proactive ER actions, ensuring timely resolution and high standards of employee experience.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and HR certification (preferred).

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years employee/labor relations experience without a degree.
• Minimum 2 years employee/labor relations experience with a degree.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; HR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Employee Relations support to Leaders and Team Members to promote positive employee relations.
• Conduct thorough investigations of complaints to resolve concerns and reduce risk of legal action.

The base pay range for full-time employment is $88,171.20 - $131,601.60 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
