Job summary

Cogent is seeking a Service Coordinator for our Golden, Colorado facility. The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s Degree (minimum) and experience in customer service/order coordination/scheduling within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or vocational degree in mechanics/engineering or equivalent experience
• Detail-oriented with ability to work independently and in a team
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Proficient in MS Office and Salesforce
• Ability to manage priorities in a high-pressure environment
• Experience in customer service/order coordination preferred

Responsibilities

• Create work orders for shop technicians.
• Acquire necessary documents for technicians.
• Review inspections and prepare customer reports.
• Obtain pricing from vendors for repairs.
• Procure parts, equipment, and tools needed for each job.
• Track purchase orders and forecast arrivals.
• Schedule jobs with the Shop Service Manager.
• Assist with change orders or scope modifications.
• Update customers and sales teams on job status.
• Work in Salesforce daily.
• Attend required trainings and travel as needed.
• Coordinate with sales/service to ensure orders are managed with excellence.
• Monitor quality from planning to completion.
• Process warranties and returns to vendors.
• Develop relationships with internal and external customers.
• Provide excellent customer service daily.
• Complete safety training.
