Job summary

Central Carolina Hospital in North Carolina seeks a Registered Nurse for the Employee Health team. You will oversee onboarding, monitor vaccines, and maintain health files to support a healthy workforce.

You will help track illnesses and exposures while contributing to departmental goals and evidence-based practice in patient care operations.

Qualifications

  • Current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state license).
  • Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees employee health onboarding requirements and maintains current employee health files.
  • Monitors annual PPD's, vaccines, and respirator fittings.
  • Tracks work related illnesses, injuries and blood borne pathogen exposures.
  • Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the organization's clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives.
  • Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
  • Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.

How You'll Contribute

A Registered Nurse who excels in this role:

  • Oversees employee health on boarding requirements and maintains current employee health files.

What We're Looking For
