Job summary

Central Carolina Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team in a rural, twenty-bed unit.

Work 3 x 12-hour night shifts (7p–7a) with rotating weekends and self-scheduling. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, timely documentation, and collaborative care planning in a supportive community hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina State License or Compact License with North Carolina endorsement.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.

Our Emergency Department is a rural twenty-bed unit where we are focused on providing patient centered care in a friendly environment. What We're Looking For
