Job summary

Central Carolina Hospital is actively seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Medical/Surgical team. You will conduct patient assessments, implement nursing interventions, and document care in the medical record. A North Carolina RN license (or compact) and BLS/ACLS are required within specified timeframes.

• North Carolina RN license or Compact License with NC endorsement.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and accurate documentation in the medical record.

$20,000 Commitment Bonus for experienced Registered Nurses; $10,000 Commitment Bonus for new graduate Registered Nurses.
Schedule: 3 x 12 hr. shifts per week on the Day Shift (7a - 7p) + rotating weekends

How You'll Contribute

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient

What We’re Looking For

• Current North Carolina State License or Compact License with North Carolina endorsement.
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire
• ACLS is required within 90 days of hire
• Associate’s degree in nursing is required (Bachelor’s degree is preferred)
• One year of RN experience in a health care setting is preferred
