Job summary

empirical foods, inc. is seeking an HR Coordinator to support employee experience in a manufacturing setting. You’ll assist with onboarding, benefits enrollment, and day-to-day HR tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

You will collaborate with managers, handle inquiries, and ensure confidential handling of sensitive information while maintaining accurate records and timely HR processes.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting HR functions or payroll is a plus.
• High School diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is helpful for workplace communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted HR resource and assist with employee self-service tools.
• Support time-off requests, address changes, and general HR inquiries.
• Administer leave programs (FMLA/LOA) with confidentiality.
• Process payroll data and maintain accurate personnel files.
• Coordinate interview schedules and onboarding with hiring managers.
• Assist with benefits enrollment and orientation for new hires.
• Handle general office duties and data entry; contribute to special projects.
