Southeastern-Food-Merchandisers is seeking a hands-on Human Resources Coordinator/Recruiter to support daily HR activities with a focus on recruiting, hiring, and onboarding across warehouse, transportation, and office teams. You will work closely with managers to identify staffing needs and streamline hiring processes.

This role requires maintaining accurate employee records, coordinating background checks and pre-employment requirements, assisting with training and safety programs, and

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in recruiting, human resources, staffing, or related field preferred.
• Food distribution industry experience is a plus.
• Associate's or bachelor's in HR, Business, or related field preferred but not required.

Mansioni

• Coordinate recruiting and hiring for warehouse, transportation, office, and other positions.
• Partner with managers to identify staffing needs and maintain job descriptions and postings.
• Source candidates via job boards, social media, schools, job fairs, and community resources.
• Create recruiting content and communicate with candidates throughout the process.
• Coordinate pre-employment requirements (background checks, drug testing, verifications).
• Assist with offers and maintain recruiting records; attend recruiting events.
• Coordinate onboarding with new employees and managers; conduct new hire orientation.
