Job summary

Right at Home Hilton Head/Savannah is seeking a Recruiting and HR professional to develop strategies, post advertisements, source candidates, screen resumes, and coordinate interviews. The role also handles onboarding, background checks, compliance tracking, and employee engagement to ensure a smooth candidate experience.

You will support day-to-day HR operations, maintain records, and participate in on-call rotations while collaborating with the HR team to improve retention and overall employee

Qualifications

• Experience developing recruiting strategies and posting advertisements.
• Familiarity with coordinating onboarding and credential verifications.
• Knowledge of maintaining employee records and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract qualified caregivers.
• Create and post job advertisements, source candidates through multiple channels, and participate in job fairs or networking events.
• Review resumes, conduct initial phone screenings, and coordinate interviews.
• Communicate with applicants throughout the hiring process and help maintain a strong candidate experience.
• Assist with recruiting initiatives to meet ongoing staffing needs.
• Coordinate onboarding for new hires, ensuring all required employment paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
• Conduct and track background checks, reference checks, and required credential verifications.
• Ensure employee files are complete, accurate, and maintained in accordance with company policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Track required training, policy acknowledgments, and other compliance documentation.
• Monitor employee records for expiring certifications, missing documentation, and other compliance requirements.
• Help maintain compliance with employment regulations, agency policies, and applicable home care licensing requirements.
• Assist with internal audits, recordkeeping, and follow-up on outstanding compliance items.
• Support day-to-day HR operations and respond to employee questions regarding onboarding, policies, and employment documentation.
• Collaborate with the HR team to develop initiatives that improve employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention.
• Help create a positive employee experience from the initial application through onboarding and ongoing employment.
• Maintain accurate employee records and assist with other administrative HR responsibilities as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
• Use scheduling software to assist with staffing-related administrative tasks, track hours, and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with internal teams to support staffing needs and ensure required employee documentation is available.
• Provide additional administrative support to help keep daily operations organized and efficient.
