Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in an insurance brokerage with proven success.
• Life and Health insurance license required.
• Strong knowledge of Employee Benefits.
• Goal-oriented with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to engage senior HR leaders and build executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annualized new business sales of $200k in target market of 200–2,000 employees; retain at least 92% year over year with leadership support.
• Meet new business activity and quality appointment goals.
• Research prospects and develop customized messaging for prospects.
• Explain USI’s competitive differentiation to clients and prospects.
• Develop sales business plans and effective prospecting strategies.
• Innovate for clients using market knowledge and benefit expertise.
