Job summary

EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants in Duluth, GA is seeking a Financial Analyst to develop accurate and timely financial analyses for client teams. You will prepare IBNR analyses, underwriting projections, and data warehouse-based reports to support plan performance and client decisions.

This role also includes new business participation and collaboration with vendors. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and a background in insurance or risk management, with strong Excel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational training or business experience.
• College degree in insurance, risk management, math or related field preferred.
• Aptitude for performing financial analysis for a benefits consulting or brokerage firm (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Develop and review monthly reporting for assigned clients.
• Prepare IBNR analysis.
• Produce underwriting analysis for client renewals and projections.
• Produce data warehouse-based reports to support plan performance analysis for clients.
• Support Client Team strategy initiatives with evaluation of plan design alternatives, rate or employee contribution alternatives, risk profiles, benchmarking, data analytics, vendor change analyses, or program implementation or elimination.
• Coordinate with vendors as needed to obtain necessary data for analysis.
• Participate in new business activities and meetings as requested.
