Job summary

The Standard in Cincinnati is seeking a Field Service Manager to lead the Employee Benefits Sales and Service Office, driving profitability and long-term growth while coaching staff to deliver superior customer service.

You will develop a strategic business plan, supervise staff through renewals, and coordinate with Account Managers on broker and customer visits, ensuring consistent service delivery and strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
• 3 to 5 years experience in supervision, preferably in the Employee Benefits field.
• Life and Disability insurance license for all states within the office's assigned territory and the state of New York.
• Personal automobile is available for business use with adequate insurance and a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a business plan for assigned offices that encompasses a strategic focus to maintain profitability, persistency and growth objectives.
• Lead and motivate the staff to ensure appropriate focus on the customer is achieved throughout the customer life cycle.
• Provide leadership and counseling to the staff to manage their block of customers towards successful renewals, salable due to consistent service delivery.
• Review, negotiate and resolve complex service issues escalated by staff and other internal and external customers; attend finalist presentations or other customer facing meetings and regularly accompany Account Managers on broker and/or customer visits.
