Job summary

MetLife is seeking a Client Service Consultant in its Group Benefits division in the United States. The role begins with a four-month training program focused on employee benefits and MetLife systems, followed by deployment into a client service position supporting benefits administration and service delivery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of equivalent experience within the insurance space.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and stay flexible.
• General understanding of the U.S. economy and employee benefits industry.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and AI-enabled tools.
• Self-motivated to learn and proactively develop professionally.

Responsibilities

• Complete required MetLife training programs, including graduation from the Service Academy Program.
• Partner with a mentor to learn about MetLife products, services, platforms, and client relationships.
• Develop expertise in MetLife Group Benefits offerings, systems, and service processes.
• Strengthen core competencies in customer service, communication, project management, and problem-solving.
