Job summary

Kapnick Insurance is seeking an Account Manager for our Employee Benefits division. You will be the primary contact for day-to-day service needs of our small business clients, focusing on accuracy, timely responses, and smooth renewal processes.

Responsibilities include identifying client issues, preparing renewal proposals, coordinating enrollment materials, and acting as liaison with other service departments to ensure service standards are met.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Employee Group Benefit experience.
• 2-3 years customer service experience.
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Promptly identify and resolve client issues (administrative, billing, claims).
• Maintain client account information in the agency management system.
• Consult with Client Executive or Account Executive regularly.
• Review and prepare renewal proposals for clients.
• Coordinate renewal materials and open enrollment packets.
• Oversee submission of group applications to carriers and assist with implementation.
• Act as liaison to other service departments within the benefits division.
• Monitor voicemail, emails, and activities per service standards.
• Attend department and team meetings and training sessions.
• Facilitate plan document creation or amendments.
• Document renewal decisions, plans, and final rates in the system.
