Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in employee benefits administration, account management or related insurance role.
• In-depth knowledge of group benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA/HSA and voluntary benefits.
• Active Michigan Life & Health Insurance License or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead service contact for assigned group clients.
• Maintain relationships with HR contacts and decision-makers.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries related to plan coverage, eligibility, claims, billing, and compliance.
• Manage the renewal process including requesting quotes, analyzing proposals, preparing presentations, and assisting with carrier negotiations.
• Coordinate open enrollment activities including timelines, employee meetings, communication materials, and carrier setup.
• Support implementation of new plans, products, or services.
• Liaise with insurance carriers and vendors to resolve service issues and secure plan details.
• Submit enrollment, termination, and change requests; ensure timely follow-up and confirmation.
