Job summary

Dahl Consulting in Spokane is seeking an Account Manager-Employee Benefits to join a growing national insurance brokerage. Hybrid work with 2 days onsite, the role focuses on servicing existing clients and supporting producers with renewals, marketing, and client correspondence.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years in account management within employee benefits, holds an associate degree or equivalent, a current insurance license, and strong communication and service skills to build lasting client

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of Account Management experience in employee benefits/insurance.
• Experience handling renewals and client proposals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
• Valid insurance license with CE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Producer in developing new business opportunities with existing clients and prospects.
• Initiating the renewal process and discussing renewal strategy with the Producer.
• Analyzing and comparing current exposures and developing renewal/marketing specs.
• Negotiating rates, reviewing quotes and coverages for competitiveness and accuracy.
• Reviewing marketing results and preparing client proposals.
• Binding insurance coverage and preparing binders or issuing certificates.
• Maintaining complete, accurate data in the agency management system.
